A: Miles Perret Cancer Services is located at 2130 Kaliste Saloom Road, Suite 200 in Lafayette, Louisiana 70508. We are in a white, three-story building on the corner of Kaliste Saloom Road and Martial Avenue. Our building also houses Lourdes After Hours. Please enter through the front and take the elevator to the second floor.
A: We are open Monday through Thursday from 8am - 5pm. On Fridays, we are open from 8am - 4pm. If you call after business hours, simply leave a message on the voice mail system, and someone will return your call as quickly as possible. Please be sure to include your name and telephone number.
The Wellness Center is open from 8am-4pm Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On Wednesday, the hours are 8am-5pm. On Friday, the hours are 8am-2pm. Q: What is the service area for Miles Perret Cancer Services?
A: We travel in our Mobile Unit, "Mobile Miles," to service clients in 9 parishes outside of Lafayette: Acadia, Avoyelles, Evangeline, Iberia, Jeff Davis, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion.
Q: How is Miles Perret Cancer Servces (MPCS) meeting the needs of those fighting and surviving cancer in our community?

Our service coordinators meet with each client individually to determine which services can meet their specific needs. We offer a variety of services such as INFORMATION, DIRECTION, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, FINANCIAL SUPPORT, RESOURCES, HOPE CHEST (containing hats, wigs, turbans & scarves), SUPPORT GROUPS, SMILES (a children's program), and SURVIVORSHIP.
We also have a Wellness Center specifically for cancer patients and cancer survivors. Through a personalized fitness program, cancer patients and survivors get a customized workout to meet their needs. The Wellness Center also offers nutrition and wellness education.
We are able to offer wonderful services at no charge to clients due to the generosity of sponsors during our events and donations throughout the year.
A $10 donation provides special mouthwash.
A $20 donation will provide special numbing cream for a MPCS client with a mediport.
A $50 donation will provide a wig.
A $75 donation will provide certain durable medical equipment, such as a walker.
A $100 donation will provide a MPCS client with a bra and a prosthesis following a mastectomy.
A $150 donation will provide a 1-month supply of nutritional supplements.
